Spray Tan Preparation
Preparing your skin before any spray tan treatment is the key element so to ensure your spray tan lasts.
· Exfoliate your entire body 24-48 hours before treatment to ensure all dead skin cells are removed.
· Do not apply any type of perfume, deodorant or body lotions on the day of your treatment as this will interfere with the development of your tan.
· Shave or wax no less than 24 hours before your appointment to avoid any dark spot effects.
· Wear loose clothing after your treatment
· Spray tans take 12-24 hours to develop into their full colour. It is best to book an appointment at least 48 hours before or a couple of days before an event for your spray tan to look at its best.
Spray Tan After Care
To ensure your spray tan lasts here are a few things to keep in mind after your treatment:
· When showering avoid using soap or scrubbing and preferably take a cold shower.
· Pat yourself dry after shower and do not rub
· Avoid excessive sweating or high intensity activity
· Daily moisturising is extremely important in keeping you tan intact and prolong it.
